You no i waited for this to release and then the One series dropped and i jumped all over it but I'm not really surprised Tmo has always been slow on getting flagship phones from anyone other than HTC even with the S3 they shot themselves by jacking up the price 80$, wondering with there thinking with phone selection, sub par service and sub par selection of phones

Well the At&t Note refurb is $49.99 right now. Great deal!!!

not with the Note II launch being imminent.

OK, whatever makes you feel better. Android loyalists are so weird. The only way $49.99 for a Note isn't good, is if the Note 2 is $49.99.

no, just good with seeing the big picture. i'd rather make a larger down payment to have a much, much better device since i'd have to make the same payment for it for the next two years of my life as i would the outdated device which adds up to a lot if you didn't know already and i don't know about you but i think that if i'm going to pay that much money over the term then i deserve the best experience i can have in that time even if i have to wait and save for it. saving is not complicated, deals like this are only for the impatient and the ones with lack of knowing.

How do you know it'll be that much better? I'm sorry but $49.99 sounds like a great deal to me!

even if the Note only uses an S4 it'll be leaps and bounds ahead of the Crapdragon in the US version of the Note and then not only that but support for it will grow instead of diminish like it will for the Note an then i'm sure it'll have the larger display that is so frequently rumored, 2GB of RAM, probably a larger battery, it's worth it if not just for the difference in power which will be significant. my final sentence from the last comment stands.

Look how long it took for it to come to Tmo... Carrier exclusives screw over everybody. Samsung missed out on potentially HALF of T-mobile sales, as well as a good portion of Sprint subscribers. Then the pricing of it was terrible to even try to compete. No one wants to pay top dollars for last year's technology.

Samsung Galaxy Note had an exclusive with at&t. T-Mobile could not get it til that went off, which it did in August. My theory is that T-mobile was informed that the Note II would ALSO be at&t exclusive and thus decided to carry the Note I. Now perhaps the Note II will NOT be an at&t exclusive. Which means t-Mobile can do what they are doing now. GETTING RID OF THIS OUTDATED MODEL TO GET THE NEW ONE!! Just a theory, but it fits the facts.

I knew Tmobile wouldnt benefit from having a phone that is almost a year old lol. especially since the Note II will debut within a week or so

People wasting time hating on Tmobile sound exactly like what they are uneducated fools. I applaud Tmobile for doing what they had to do getting the original Galaxy Note 1yr after At&t. They secured the fact that YES they will be getting the Galaxy Note 2 and YES will be the first US carrier to get it. The fault laid with Samsung making that stupid deal in the first place with At&t from an exclusive standpoint that was a very bad move. Enter 2012 Samsung learned from it's mistake very quickly they launched the Galaxy S3 on all carriers in the US the ONLY manufacturer to ever do a product in that manner from an Android standpoint. Let me remind you DWEEBS that Tmobile was the first carrier to launch the Galaxy S3 on June 21st in stores that will happen again for the GALAXY NOTE 2. This time all carriers EXCEPT VERIZON will see the Galaxy Note 2 WHY because Verizon is committed to that UGLY ASS Lg Vu and in bed with Htc for it's Galaxy Note competitor. So all Samsung has to worry about is Tmobile, At&t, and Sprint. Plus with Tmobile starting unlimited on September 5th as well as being the first carrier to have jellybean on the current Galaxy S3 very soon to go along with the LTE ADVANCED network arriving in early 2013 it looks to me that Tmobile is the place to be not Verizon or At@t for that matter. The joke is on everyone else..
